Locust Bean Gum is a galactomannan vegetable gum extracted from the seeds of the carob tree, mostly found in the Mediterranean region, also known as carob gum, a common substitute of Cocoa.

It is available in various viscosities.


As thickening and gelling agent used in food industry to enhance gel properties, reduce syneresis, and improve freeze-thaw stability.
